Network Gangster is designed so that field data (scans, map tags, notes, preferences) is stored on your device. We do not require an account and do not operate a cloud profile of your scan results.
How to delete your data
Clear app storage (keeps the app installed): on your Android phone go to
Settings → Apps → Network Gangster → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data.
This removes on-device sessions, preferences, and local files created by the app.
Uninstall Network Gangster. Uninstalling removes the app and its local data from that device.
What is deleted
On-device scan history, flags/tags, notes, map pins, exports you have not already shared, and app preferences.
What may remain
Files you previously exported or shared (email, Downloads, other apps) stay where you put them.
Google Play purchase/subscription records are held by Google under Play’s policies (not in our app storage).
If you used the free tier with ads, Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers under Google’s privacy policy; manage ad personalization in your Google account / device ad settings.
Retention
On-device data is retained until you clear app data or uninstall. There is no separate cloud retention period for scan data on our servers, because core field data is not uploaded by default.
